The nutshell:
I’m an MK (missionary kid) aka TCK (third culture kid) who grew up overseas, studied music, and am currently part of a church plant in Chicago, transplanted from Southern California. I am a creative and an artist, a serious deep feeler and a total goofball. I love to laugh til my stomach hurts and I love spending quality time with people that I love. I am stubborn, very picky, and like being unique. I would rather be at the zoo any day and I am bamboo and panda crazy.
I blog about what I’m learning and thoughts (and lots and lots of feelings) and sometimes I work out my thoughts by putting words together. Sometimes I write songs to help work out the thoughts when words aren’t enough, the music fills in the gaps. My words and writing and this blog are quite unspectacular, but very helpful for me as I process a difficult, and painful journey. I write to share my life and in hopes that this journey of authenticity is an encouragement somehow.
